Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Dearest Parents and Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder that today is the last day to complete and submit the online Confirmation of Attendance Form for the 2020-2021 school year. Jazakallahu khairan to all those who have already submitted this form. Please note that all parents/guardians must submit this form by today if you have not already done so.
It was my pleasure to meet with many of you during last Friday’s online Q&A session. I have posted the questions asked there is a FAQs page (frequently asked questions). Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions. We want to make sure your decision is well informed. Please see the email below for more information on the Return to School Plan.

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Dearest Parents,
You will be receiving several updates over these days so please be on the lookout for these emails. These emails will also be archived on the Parents Update page.
Today’s Update
-
Extended Day Program Cancelled for 2020-2021: Please note that we will not be offering the before and after school childcare program for the 2020-2021 school year as it would be difficult for us to implement the cohorting and physical distancing requirements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, this is a friendly reminder that we have a Live Q&A session today from 6:30-8 pm EST in case parents need to ask any questions related to the reopening. You may join the session by clicking on the following link: https://meet.google.com/zaq-crxz-wfe

Email Sent on Aug 12, 2020
Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Dearest Parents and Guardians,
I pray and hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy and have been able to enjoy the summer so far. We are looking forward to welcoming students and staff safely back to school in September. The school will reopen with the following two options:
-
Option 1-In Person: Conventional in-person delivery of teaching and instruction five days per week, with enhanced health and safety protocols.
-
Option 2-Online: An online option for those who wish to continue their children in the school with voluntary at home learning.
Please view the Return to School Plan 2020 for more details.
Parents/guardians must complete and submit the Confirmation of Attendance Form by Monday, August 17, 2020 to advise whether their child(ren) will attend In-Person or Online. However, I encourage all parents to do this at your earliest opportunity as the submission date from this form will be used as a priority date to inform any adjustments to class sizes due to possible future directives from Ontario’s Ministry of Education.
We recognize the challenges of making this decision under a tight deadline. This information will assist us in determining enrollment, class sizes, staffing, and other important factors to help support students in school and learning online (remotely).
I have also scheduled an online, live Q&A session this Friday, August 14 from 6:30-8 pm EST in case parents need to ask any questions related to the reopening. You may join the session by clicking on the following link: https://meet.google.com/zaq-crxz-wfe
