Middle School Program (Grade 7 & 8)

Our Middle School program is based on the Ontario curriculum and follows the expectations and guidelines established by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Students receive a strong academic foundation across the core subject areas, supported by appropriate learning resources and instructional materials.

In addition to the Ontario curriculum, Abraar Secondary School offers a comprehensive Islamic education program designed to strengthen students’ knowledge, character, and connection to their faith. This program includes Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.

Qur’an classes focus on developing students’ recitation skills and supporting the memorization of selected surahs. Students are encouraged to progress at an appropriate pace while building consistency and a strong relationship with the Qur’an. The school also hosts an annual Qur’an competition for Middle and High School students, providing an opportunity to recognize students’ effort and achievement.

Arabic instruction is offered to support students at different levels of language proficiency. Arabic-speaking students are given opportunities to strengthen their reading, writing, and language skills, while non-Arabic-speaking students are introduced to the language in a supportive learning environment.

What makes Abraar unique is the integration of strong academics with Islamic education in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Our goal is to support students academically, spiritually, socially, and personally as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
