MAC Al-Otrojah Terms of Service
By agreeing to apply in MAC Al-Otrojah, all students above the age of 18 and parents/ guardians of minors (below the age of 18) signing on behalf of their children, attest that they must adhere to the following terms of service and have thus signed on the COVID-19 Acknowledgment Waiver below.
General Regulations
- All Students must register their information online before attending halaqas or making any payments.
- For Program Fees, please check our Programs Section under “Students”
- In-person options are available in several locations. Please contact the admin for more information.
- In-person classes follow Government regulations on Health and Safety, MAC Al-Otrojah management committee, and must abide by extra location regulations and restrictions.
PT Schools Financial Agreement
- I agree to pay, on the specified times, all tuition fees, dues, accounts, and other indebtedness incurred by the student.
- I agree, all fees are non-refundable once the school starts.
- I acknowledge that tuition fees must be paid in full using the online registration portal.
- I understand if any other payment arrangement is needed, it has to be authorized by the school administration, and I am responsible to pay the full tuition fee.
- I understand if my family is on welfare or government assistance, I should submit the proof to the school administration to see if I am eligible for the 25% discount on tuition fees.
- I understand that there is a $60 administrative charge for every returned cheque or NSF. No checks will be accepted for payment after three returned check occurrences.
- I understand that refunds can be issued if the application is withdrawn before being processed. If the application is processed and the request to withdraw the application is before the first day of school, a $100/student non-refundable fee will apply.
- I understand that Tax receipts on the school fees will be emailed in March of the school year.
- I understand that the automatic withdrawals are processed so that all charges are paid on time and before December 15th of the school year.
- I understand that the full payment needs to be made for the registration process to be completed.
- I know the registration is completed when I receive an email that my child is registered.
- I understand in case of city/provincial closure, classes will continue online.
- I understand that the School Board reserves the right to change the tuition and fees at any time.
- I understand that I am responsible to pay the full tuition when my child is admitted anytime in the first semester (i.e. the tuition will not be prorated).
- I understand that 25% of the tuition fee will be reduced from the total fee when a student is registered in the second Semester.
- I understand that student fees must be paid in full regardless if my child is absent or traveling.
Payment and Refund Policy
- To make it easier for parents, payment can be done on two installments.
- First installment is due before a student is allowed to attend the first class.
- Second installment is due one month after the student’s first class.
- All Payments for Semester A (September – January) must be paid by October 30th.
- All Payments for Semester B (February – June) must be paid by March 14th.
- All fees are due before the start of classes.
- All payments are non-refundable after attending two sessions.
- Invoices are paid separately for every student, even for students on the same family account. For regulation purposes, invoices can not be joined. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- All fees are tax deductible. Tax receipts are issued and sent by email in March for all payments made through December of the previous year.
- In the event that a student must miss his/her class, an email must be sent to (admin@alotrojah.macnet.ca) and to the student’s teacher prior to missing the halaqa.
- We can accommodate students missing up to 3 halaqas if the previous step was followed.
- We apologize as we can not accept verbal communication or credit requests done at the end of the semester that weren’t formally submitted on time by email to Al-Otrojah admin.
