Office Assistant Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting teachers on an on-call basis
- Managing budgets and logistics
- Logging payments into Excel and School System
- Sending payment reports on a regular basis as directed by Principal
- Organizing and scheduling online meetings for each class (during online learning)
- Taking meeting minutes
- Writing and distributing emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Developing and maintaining a filing system
- Ordering school and office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers
- Maintaining an inventory of school supplies
- Submitting and reconciling expense reports
- Printing required documents as directed by staff
- Completing and submitting staff time-sheets to Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin Assistant is a plus
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is a plus
EXPECTED MINIMUM TIME COMMITMENT:
Working for 8 hours per week.
