Office Assistant Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assisting teachers on an on-call basis
  2. Managing budgets and logistics
  3. Logging payments into Excel and School System
  4. Sending payment reports on a regular basis as directed by Principal
  5. Organizing and scheduling online meetings for each class (during online learning)
  6. Taking meeting minutes
  7. Writing and distributing emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  8. Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  9. Developing and maintaining a filing system
  10. Ordering school and office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers
  11. Maintaining an inventory of school supplies
  12. Submitting and reconciling expense reports
  13. Printing required documents as directed by staff
  14. Completing and submitting staff time-sheets to Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin Assistant is a plus
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is a plus.

    EXPECTED MINIMUM TIME COMMITMENT: Working for 8 hours per week.
