Tarbiyah at MGS (Learn, Love and Live Islam)

At MAC School Islam is everywhere and in everything. We ensure this by articulating our Islamic values that breathe life into all aspects of our school, from culture to academics. 

Our Tarbiyyah process is rooted in instilling Rabbaniyah, a continuous consciousness of Allah SWT through which our actions revolve around fulfilling Allah’s will to earn His pleasure.

The Objectives of our Tarbiyyah Framework are to develop the following values in our students:

   1. Rabbaniyah – God-Centered Muslim 

Develop a strong Muslim Canadian identity based on their firm relationship with Allah (SWT).

   2. Husn Al-Khuluq –  Good Character

Students will embody strong internally-driven moral principles and manners, and learn to live by these values to please Allah (SWT).

   3. Ihsan – Excellence

Students will develop knowledge, skills and personal attributes rooted in Rabbaniyah to reach their full potential.

   4. Khilafah – Stewardship

Students will understand their responsibility with respect to all concentric and intersecting relationships – from Allah (SWT) to individual to family to society to humanity.

-The Tarbiyyah in our schools is an evidence-based, community-driven, character education program whereby students embody Islamic values and acquire relevant life skills to meet the 21st century challenges, rooted in developing a strong relationship with Allah SWT.

-Our vision for our Tarbiyyah is to encourage students to embody the Islamic character; to reach their full potential; to have a strong sense of responsibility and care; and to be prepared to rise above any challenges they may face.
