Youth Programs Recreational
Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) Ottawa Chapter runs the MAC Youth Centre at 1085 Grenon avenue, in the school building. The recreational programs offered by the MY Centre will provide children & youth with an opportunity to have fun and build new skills through a variety of team sports and recreational activities. Participants can choose from a range of team sports such as soccer, martial arts, volleyball and basketball, which will promote fair play, teamwork and healthy competition.
Spiritual
Through the MAC Masjid and study circles (halaqas), The MY Centre aims to support young Muslims in their development towards the best moral and social conduct, in accordance with the authentic and balanced understanding of Islam, and to lead them in fostering and embodying the values of responsible Canadian citizens.
