OGS Leadership change Announcement
After a rich and rewarding fifteen year journey at MAC-OGS, we are pleased to announce Sr. Sarah Attia as the new principal at Olive Grove School. It is definitely a bittersweet moment for the MAC-OGS staff and students as we wish Mr. Abdullatif Bakbak the very best in his new leadership role and take this opportunity to express our gratitude for his outstanding service with the school for over 15 years. He will continue to passionately support the school in his new role as MAC’s Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Attia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as an educator, community leader, and organizer, having served as the national Youth Director at the Muslim Association of Canada, where she oversaw the growth of MAC’s youth programs across 13 cities.
Ms. Attia was instrumental in developing Character Education with the implementation of the MAC iRISE program across all MAC Schools. In addition, she has completed her principal qualifications with the Ontario Principals’ Council in 2019.
